Reviews
The food was ordered and ready very quickly. There was a line of 7 waiting and 3 employees helping to keep the line going. Very efficient! I ordered the Cuban sandwich and white rice with black beans. It was super delicious! The setting is like a bakery with plenty of seating and parking too! Don't miss this great little shop!
16oz cafe con con leche 5$ Pan de Aqua toast 5$ beef empanada $2.75 chocolate croissant $4 We found this little shop while out. It is very open and friendly. They took our order and we found a seat. We enjoyed our cafe con leche very much. The pan de Aqua is a little different than cuban toast but very good. We enjoyed our breakfast and will be back when in the area. They also sell beer and cigars. A fun stop.
This place is only open from Tuesday through Saturday closed on Sunday & and Monday and they only stay open until four. Since I work from home it is very difficult for me to go out and check out this place and I usually forget about this place. On this day I decided to give this place a try since It was close to the salon I was visiting. I needed to take some lunch home with me. I just forgot how amazing this place is. Where I live it's mostly Mexican cuisine. If you want Cuban and Puerto Rican food you need to go to Orlando or Tampa. It so nice to have different type Spanish food that isn't Mexican. There a variety of Cuban and Puerto Rican food which I really enjoyed. They have a variety of bakeries as well as breakfast and lunch on this day I decided to get a mofongo bowl which when I was in Puerto Rico I practically ate mofongo every day. While I was waiting for my food I sat down and enjoyed a potato ball. It was delicious. They also have empanadas as well. There sign everywhere that food is being cook fresh so please wait. It true it is. Which I didn't mind. I got there around 11:30 and the place was busy. The staff were nice & the place is clean. Parking is sparse, you may need to street park or park by the park and walk over. When I got home I enjoyed my mofongo bowl. mofongo can be top with any protein so I picked chicken. If you don't know what mofongo is, it's chop up plantain with like a garlics sauce shaped into a dome then top with a protein. This bowl was made into a crust like shape with plantain top with rice and chicken. It was delicious but it was also heavy. There lunch portion it was huge so I had some for lunch, then dinner and lunch the next day. There a variety of sandwiches & special of the day.
Excellent. They made the empanadas and croquetas fresh! Everyone very nice Sorry I only ordered a snack. I'll be back.
I am forever mourning this place closing!!!!! It was a privilege to order La Imperial brunch/ lunch for all of my guests! There is nothing else like it around here!
